The Greater Goffstown Community Association (formerly the Optimist Club of Pinardville) would like to invite you to join us in working to make our Community a better place to live. As members of the Optimist Club we had focused our attention on the youth in Goffstown with many varied projects. This will continue and increase with your help. In reorganizing our club we had found some things that worked and some things that didn’t work. Therefore, we ask you to take a look at the GGCA and join us in our endeavor to help our community.
No requirements to attend meetings. All members are invited to attend the Board of Directors meetings if they wish. If you have an idea for a project you can email one of the board members and discuss it with them, and if necessary present it to the board.
Annual dues are only $10 (to help defray the cost of liability insurance)
3. By joining you are added to our volunteer list. Once a project is approved we will contact all the members on the list and let them know what we have in mind. If it is a project that is of interest to you than you may volunteer to be on the planning committee or volunteer to help with the project.
4. We will invite members to special speaker nights periodically during the year, but again there is no commitment to attend. Only if it is a subject of interest to you.
Here is a list of projects we have done or are hoping to do. If you are interested in joining us and would like to possibly be involved in any of these projects we ask that you just put an “x” next to the project idea. This is not a commitment, but will help us to see if there is an interest in some of these projects or not.
